Peter Wolff was my attorney and I felt that I lucked out in getting him to represent me. It was only at the last minute before trial that the State offered a new deal that was worth taking and averting future unknown risk and ensuring my future and freedom. I think this deal only happened because of Atty Wolff's skill and expertise because for years the State would not move off of demanding incarceration for a low level offense. My son was charged with several felony counts and was facing over 40 years in prison. He was being held on 50k cash bond and very strict conditions of release if he posted the bond. When I first met Mr. Sonderhouse in the courthouse lobby and I made clear to him that I wanted my son properly represented and not just treated any kind of way. He assured me that he would adequately represent my son and told me I could trust him. Mr. Sonderhouse 1st started by getting the 50K cash bond reduced to a 50K signature bond and gps monitoring. My son was released from jail that evening, within 2 months the gps monitoring was removed.Mr. Sonderhouse kept me in the loop as to everything that was going on with my sons case, he called me, emailed me & I was even allowed to participate in the meetings at his office. Some of which became very heated to say the least. And yes he's gonna use profanity, a lot of it. And yes you're going hear 20 stories about previous cases, clients, his vacations or whatever else comes to his mind at the time. I've had a lot of laughs and smiles dealing with Mr. Sonderhouse.Plea negotiations took almost 11 months and were very intense but we eventually came to a fair deal. We discussed all of the scenarios and potential outcomes and he was honest with us. He never rushed us out of his office he answered our questions and gave us his honest opinions. Mr. Sonderhouse is a straight shooter whether you like it or not. It was ultimately my sons decision to accept a No Contest plea to 1 of the felonies so now he's a convicted felon but he can move forward with his life and put this behind him. His sentence was 12 months of Huber time and 5 years probation. Basically a slap on his wrist as long as do what he's supposed to do. Because it was 3 weeks out from Christmas, Mr. Sonderhouse was also able to delay his report day to Huber until several days after Christmas. Which was a blessing to our family.Me and my Family are very Happy and satisfied with Ronald Sonderhouse and his services to us.
